About Home Drain Diagnostic

A homeowner-first way to interpret drain and sewer symptoms.

Most plumbing pages start with a single symptom. This site starts with the interaction between fixtures: what is used, what reacts, where it happens, and what remains normal.

That approach is especially useful for questions such as “why does my toilet gurgle when the washer drains?” because the trigger and the reacting fixture are different parts of the system.

The site is educational. It is not a plumbing contractor, inspection service, engineering firm, or emergency service.
